Flight Booking Consultant
We are looking for detail-oriented Booking Consultant to assist our clients with their yacht crew movement needs. The successful candidate will join a team providing flight planning and booking services, including sourcing, and suggesting flight options, answering client queries, and booking tickets.
To be successful as a Bookings Consultant you can work with minimal supervision, reliably adhere to work shift hours, and have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
Booking Consultant Responsibilities:
- Assisting and advising clients who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
- Making reservations for seafarers based on their yacht’s requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Checking the price and availability of suitable flights options on the clients’ desired travel dates.
- Processing and sending confirmation details to clients.
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
- Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
- Informing clients of ticket, seat, and luggage conditions.
- Providing support when clients need to amend or cancel a reservation.
Booking Consultant Requirements:
- Certified travel associate (CTA) or certified travel counsellor (CTC), preferred but not essential.
- Experience working in sales or public relations, preferably in the yachting hospitality or travel industries but not essential.
- Customer-service experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with email management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Data entry experience.
- Flexible working hours.
